Before providing meals, school attendance dropped to 45%. After introducing meals, attendance rose to 85% in the first year and 97% in 2024.

Kathleen, the President of FHH, visited the Dzaleka refugee camp in 2023 and saw the impact of these meals on bright, smiling students.
Your donations provided over 80,000 meals in 2022-2023 and over 140,000 meals the following year.
Now that school-provided lunches are available, school enrollment has increased from 375 to 578 children. School attendance rates have gone from as low as 45% in 2022 to 85% in 2023 and 97% in 2024.

After students received their first week of school meals, the headmaster said,
I noticed the hope, the joy of living, the courage returning to the faces of many of the children and volunteers. Others seem to thank me and thank our team but I answered them, "We have heroes in the shadows, angels sent to us by God."
